Customer Service Representative
This role will support our personal lines insurance operations by responding to customer enquiries, providing policy advice, preparing quotations, issuing policy documentation, processing renewals and amendments, and taking payments where required.
The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering a high standard of service to clients across face-to-face, telephone and email channels.
Key responsibilities include:

Responding to customer enquiries and providing clear, professional policy information.

Preparing quotes and issuing new policies, renewals and amendments in line with underwriting guidelines and documented procedures.

Inputting and maintaining accurate customer and policy information on internal systems.

Chasing renewals and updating records accordingly.

Collecting premium payments and supporting payment and debt collection processes.

Liaising with clients, brokers, claims teams, underwriters, insurers and internal departments to support customer needs.

Supporting credit control and finance-related queries where required.

Identifying appropriate cross-selling opportunities.

Reviewing current processes and making recommendations for improvements.
Skills & Experience:
-
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer service, insurance administration, broking or underwriting support role.

You will be highly organised, accurate in your work and confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage renewals, follow-ups and competing priorities effectively.

Experience using insurance or underwriting systems would be an advantage.
