Risk Manager
Argus is a leading Insurance company dedicated to excellence and innovation. Our team is composed of dedicated professionals who work together to ensure the highest standards in our products/services. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Risk Manager to join our dynamic team.
As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Group Risk Manager in establishing an integrated risk management framework (RMF) including embedding sustainability and climate change considerations in the RMF.
- Holding the regulated Risk Manager function holder position for regulated entity/ies domiciled in Europe and be the risk subject matter expert for entity/ies domiciled in Europe.
- Providing guidance and support to business units and proactively engage with Senior
- Management in understanding and managing the company’s risk obligations
Requirements:
- Degree in risk management, finance, actuarial science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a risk role in the financial services industry
- Extensive knowledge in Solvency II regulations, ORSA reporting and risk assessments/reporting
- Exceptional written and communication skills, experience presenting at Board meetings and interacting with regulators
- Good analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to working with others
- Risk management certifications and knowledge on environmental, social & governance (ESG) reporting frameworks (including those relating to climate change) are highly desirable
